James Willie Lane, Jr.

James Willie Lane, Jr., 71, of 350 Bryant Road, Apt E-7, Spartanburg, SC passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 in Spartanburg Medical Center.  He was born October 8, 1947 is Louisville, GA to Mattie Bell Brown Lane of Orlando, FL and the late James Willie Lane, Sr.  He was the husband of Karan Denise Geter Lane of the home.  He attended the public schools of Belle Glade, FL. He was a retired construction worker.  He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.  He was predeceased by his father; one brother, Jimmy Lewis Lane; and one sister, Gloria Ellis.  Survivors in addition to his wife includes one brother, Robert (Lillie) Lane of Clewiston, FL.  The family will receive friends at the home.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
