James Crosby

James Crosby, 75, of 340 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC passed Monday afternoon, August 5, 2019 in Spartanburg Medical Center.  A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Dennis Crosby and Janie Meadows Crosby.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Crosby and Roosevelt Crosby.  He is survived by three sons, Thomas Crosby of Boiling Springs, SC, James Bernard (Shirley) Crosby of Spartanburg, SC, and Dennis Lee Crosby of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Sandra (Sterling) Brannon of Spartanburg, SC, and Selina (Eric) Fields of Boiling Springs, SC;  ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Noland (Deloris) Crosby of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Mattie Ruth Smith of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of other relatives a friends.  The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Dennis Crosby, 130 Tanglewylde Drive, Spartanburg, SC.   Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
