Eddie Cohen, Jr.

Eddie Cohen, Jr., of 316 Judith Lane, Spartanburg, SC passed away October 21, 2019 at his residence.  A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Eddie Cohen, Sr. and Willie Mae Hunter Cohen.  He was a graduate of Byrnes High School and was self-employed.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Author Earl Cohen and Kenneth Cohen and one sister, Rudy Cohen.  He is survived by one brother, Bruce Cohen of Spartanburg, SC; three sisters, Joann (Randy) Bomar of Spartanburg, SC and Angela Michelle Cohen of SC, and Pauline (Adrian) Amos of Charlotte, SC; a special, Canary Porter and her grandson, Desmond Porter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Friendship Baptist Church, 250 Morning Drive, Spartanburg, SC.  The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, 346 Ammons Road, Spartanburg, SC.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
