Daniel Wayne Geatter

Daniel Wayne Geatter, 49, of 517 Massachusetts Boulevard, Spartanburg, SC passed Friday night, July 26, 2019 at his residence.  A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Baularth and Allene Hughes Geatter.  He attended Hardy Chapel Baptist Church as a child.  He was a 1988 graduate of Spartanburg High School and he attended Central State University in Ohio.  He was also an employee of Delta Power Equipment Corporation.  Those remaining, in addition to his parents, to cherish his memory include two sons, Marvin Holman and Caziah Geatter both of Spartanburg, SC; three daughters, Brittany Geatter, Asia Geatter-Jones and Iesha Ferguson all of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Kamari Merck and Kori Gamble both of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters, Rosetta Michelle Bledsoe and Ann(Kenny) McAbee both of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the home.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Hardy Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the First Baptist Church of Fairforest Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
