Bobby Charles Smith

Bobby Charles Smith. 62. of 121 Magnolia Circle, Union, SC passed away Friday night, September 13, 2019 in Spartanburg Medical  Center.  He was born November 5, 1956 to the late James Smith and Eloise Talley Smith.  He attended the public schools of Union County.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Lamarcus; three brothers, Willie Lee Smith, James Smith, and Stanley; and one sister, Andrena Smith.  He is survived by two sons, Damarcus Kenya (Tiffany) Smith of Spartanburg, SC and Marvin Charles Smith of Jonesville, SC; one daughter, Temeika Michelle Smith of Union, SC; three grandchildren, Kaderious Keyshun Fleming, Akeem Shaw, and Malek Shaw; his longtime companion, Shirley Y. Farr; two brothers, Curtis (Janet) Smith of Union, SC and Raymond Smith of Union, SC; five sisters, Virginia Ruth Jennings of Far Rockaway, NY, Joann Parham of Union, SC, Brenda (Jonathan) Smith of Rochester, NY, Edith Smith of Union, SC, and Kathy Smith of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 201 Stutts, Avenue, Union, SC.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
