On Sunday morning, October 6, 2019, an angel whispered the good news to Annie L. Glenn that it was time for her to lay her burdens down. She then made the transition to paradise into the graceful arms of JESUS. Annie Lou was born on March 15, 1932, in Jonesville SC. Lou Lou spent over 87 beautiful years on this side of paradise. During this time, she touched many lives in a positive way especially her daughter Sharon; granddaughter, Marandy; great grandchildren Jonas, Phiquashia and Mashuawna. Annie Lou attended Foster Chapel School in Jonesville, SC, Mathers Academy Boarding School in Camden, SC graduating from Sims High School in Union, SC. She furthered her education at Barber Schotia College in Concord, NC after which she accepted employment in New Jersey. She joined her sister in Stamford, Connecticut in the early sixties after accepting employment at the Vine Road Nursing Home, where she subsequently retired after a lengthy service. Annie Lou was the daughter of the late John W. Glenn and Fannie Bowman Glenn. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Bomar Glenn, J.W. Glenn Jr. and O’Neal Glenn; two sisters, Shawlene Glenn, Otto I. Vogel and her daughter, Sharon Glenn and her nephew, J. W. Glenn,III. She leaves precious memories to her granddaughter, Marandy Glenn of Spartanburg SC; three great grandchildren, Jonas Jeter, Phiquashia Mcmorris, and Mashuawna Elliott of Spartanburg, SC; one niece, Cynthia Glenn Curenton of Jonesville, SC; two nephews, Lawrence Glenn of Jacksonville, FL and Carlyle (Eleanor) Glenn of Mahopac, NY; and a host of other family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
