Alton Brandon

Alton Brandon, 60, of 6534 Black Oasis Circle, Fort Mill, SC passed Tuesday morning, July 16, 2019.  A native of Union, SC, he was the son of Pearline Whitener Brandon and the late Charles Edward "BB" Brandon.  He attended Dungan Presbyterian Church in NY at a early age.  He received his Bachelors Degree from Colorado State University.  In addition his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Cedric Kendall Brandon.  Those remaining in addition to his mother include, one daughter, Taylor Elan Brandon of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Charles Brandon of Atlanta, GA and Darryl Russell (Charmaine) Brandon of Hampton, VA; two step-brothers, Limmie Sims of Oakland, CA and Charles Lott of Union, SC; two aunts, Avie Jean Reynolds and Gloria Jean Hill both of Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Saint Luke AME Zion Church with burial at Rosemont Cemetery.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary,. 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
