Obituary

James Edward Eison was born on March 30, 1952 to Mae Lois Eison Hooker and the late James Hooker. He departed this life on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Spartanburg Medical Center.  He received his education in the Union County school system.

He was a member of Mount Rowell Baptist Church.

James enlisted in the United States Army. After serving his duty, he worked for Nestle for several years.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Hooker.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mae Lois Eison Hooker; two children, Venita (Denard) White of Columbia, SC, and Yaphet Lindsey of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Denard White, Jr., Daniel White, Davin White, and Dreyson White all of Columbia, SC ; one brother, William Eison of Union, SC; one sister, Barbara (Clifford) Austin of Atlantic City, New Jersey and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
