James Robert Woods, affectionately known as “Boo,” was born March 14, 1969. A native of Bronx, NY, he attended Evander Childs High School in New York. He was the son of the late James Woods, Sr., and the late Genevieve Evans Woods. He was known for his passion for dancing and his LOVE for music, known for having the best mixed tapes. He spent many years in the truck driving industry. “Boo” welcomed everyone with open arms. He was generous with his knowledge, wisdom, and love. He had a heart of gold. “Boo” was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. “Boo” entered eternal rest on February 29, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Restorative Hospital. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wesley Tolbert and one sister, Sylvia “Ann” Henderson Thomas. He leaves to cherish loving memories his loving companion, Tiffany Thompson of the home; two sons, Jordan Woods and Kristopher Thompson, both of Union, SC; five brothers, Lamont Woods, Joe (Muriel) Woods both of Union, SC, Mike (Clara) Butler of NC, Shawn Fleming of Rock Hill, SC, and Frederick Burton, of New York; two sisters, Patricia Woods of Greenville, SC, and Quo-Votis Covington of NC; four special nieces, Taquana Woods, Ebony Woods, Natyia Woods, and Karisma Woods; three special nephews, Jebre Mitchell, Montre Jeter, and Tavante Woods; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friend
